Running Autoware.Auto with ROS2 Foxy

Hello,

I’m currently trying to install Autoware.Auto in my Ubuntu 20 machine with ROS2 Foxy. My goal is to connect my machine running Autoware with another machine running the LGSVL simulator through a gigabit switch connection. Is the Autoware.Auto on Foxy still experimental? And is the plugin for the LGSVL simulator functional? I ask these questions following what it is stated in this post: https://discourse.ros.org/t/autoware-...

Thank you in advance.

Autoware.Auto on Foxy is fully-functional _except_ for the LGSVL simulator. In order for the simulator to function on Foxy, we need testing for https://gitlab.com/autowarefoundation....

I understand. Thanks a lot Josh. Anyway I changed to a Jetson Xavier NX as the host machine, and soon I think I will try it on an AGX. So right now I'm working with Ubuntu 18.04 and ROS2 Dashing. Hopefully I will be able to set up a demo with the LGSVL simulator running on another machine running Windows 10. Thanks again!

Update: As of the 1.0 release, Autoware.Auto is fully functional with ROS2 Foxy and we only target this as a development platform now, so we will not test updates to 1.0 on dashing any more

Hi, any update whether AutowareAuto with ROS2 Foxy can work with the LGSVL simulator now?
