minimal.launch not in files

I followed the setup online for my turtlenot3 and all the example teleoperations work, but the minimal.launch is not in the bringup files. I was trying to follow a tutorial on how to write my own script and they used the minimal launch so I need a few pointers! I am also brand new to ROS and Ubuntu and python.
