Hello, I am looking for a world in Gazebo (like a vehicle testrack) to test some SLAM algorithms in simulation. Is there a place referencing these files or do you know a Gazebo world that is commonly used for this purpose? Thanks, Gerald

Hi @gerald

Despite the fact that you may find better answers about Gazebo in Gazebo answers forum I will post here an answer for your question.

There exist already made Gazebo worlds that you can use for your tests. However bear in mind that one of the most important features of Gazebo is the possibility to generate your own world by adding your custom models. Here you can find a set of models and worlds that can be used for indoor and outdoor SLAM.

In case those worlds do not fit your needs, you can use the models of that repository, or the ones you can find here and here to generate your own worlds.

Hope this is useful for you.

Regards.
