How to use EtherCAT ?

Hi !

I'm trying to communicate with a Wago 750-354 via EtherCAT. I saw the package SOEM but I don't understand how to use it.

Is there someone who have a exemple or an experience with it ?

it uses ros and orocos for the ethercat stuff. aand then map the ocoros vars to ros msgs
