bash: distro: No such file or directory

I am Installing turtlesim for Ubuntu Linux ( ROS2) by the command : sudo apt install ros-<distro>-turtlesim I got that error bash: distro: No such file or directory

In the future please link to the specific tutorial you're following and provide more information about how to reproduce your environment and the exact command you ran and the exact console output (copy and paste) as well as problem. If we can reproduce your problem we can be more confident in providing you with specific advice.

in this case it looks like you need to substitute your choice of distro for <distro> So for example it should be ros-foxy-turtlesim not ros-<distro>-turtlesimif you want to use the foxy distro.
