ros foxy installation error on ubuntu 20.04 with raspberry 4
Hello everyone,
I am new to ROS aswell as programming in terminal in general and have some issue with the installation of ros2 foxy on my raspi4 running on ubuntu (20.04). Ubuntu has just been installed for that.
I followed this tutorial : Installing ROS 2 via Debian Packages Everything is working fine until I reach "Install ROS 2 packages". When i run the following command :
ubuntu@ubuntu:~/Desktop$ sudo apt-get install ros-foxy-desktop
I get the following error :
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package ros-foxy-desktop
I've then tried to install ros-foxy-ros-base instead of desktop as it is suggested for raspi here :
Install ROS2 Foxy on Raspberry Pi 4 and received the same error.

I'm facing similar problem. I can add that it worked fine for ubuntu (20.04) 64bit on Pi 3 ; where 32bit did not work and give the same error as above. E: Unable to locate package ros-foxy-ros-base
