I am developing a project in which a RC car autonomously drives/races inside a circuit (2D circuit drawn with tape on the floor). More or less Roborace style but at a very lower scale (1:10 RC buggy car). I am using: RaspBerry 4B 4gb, Raspicam V2, and MPU-6050 if needed.

I am looking for information about SLAM developing for road detection (ONLY THE ROAD, 2D SURFACE with painted lines) similar to the Road-SLAM approach of this paper: https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/7995958 and this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLjFxDMovnc
