set log directory
I would like to configure the log directory to be elsewhere in my launch.py file.
I found what appears to be the function that I need to call, but how?

This is possible by using log4cxx and defining the log name in a config file that. The log directory will follow the path of the filename you provide e.g. /User/home/logs/logfile
