Is any ros2 package for universal robots under development? Any estimate when they might get released?

I was also looking for an UR ROS2 package, and came across this: https://github.com/kukanani/picky_robot
more info about the project: https://roscon.ros.org/2017/presentat...
It's nice that it exists, but please note it uses a completely different approach to controlling the robot and has a different level of integration than any of the drivers available for ROS 1.
Adam has also said himself that it was "just a demo" to get things to work for his ROSCon talk.

I would suggest you ask this -- at least for the driver -- on the issue tracker of UniversalRobots/Universal_Robots_ROS_Driver.
I recommend you to read the following link (https://github.com/ros-industrial/ur_...) in order to know how the efforts in ur_moder_driver been in the past year and follow to this one, to know the updates in ur_robot_driver (https://github.com/UniversalRobots/Un...)
