Autoware for trucks.
I've been testing autoware packages for car like models, but can those packages be used for trucks? If "yes" then are there any limitations for that? If "no" then why can't they be used? Thanks in advance :)

The models in use in Autoware.ai generally assume a 4-wheeled vehicle with Ackerman-style steering. If your trucks match this description then there should be no major problems, though most control algorithms will require tuning, no matter what type of vehicle you use.
Also, this is a very broad question because there are many definitions of the word "truck" and because you don't specify which packages you're asking about. Autoware.ai contains many interchangeable packages for many purposes.

Hi, Thanks for the response. The packages I'm looking forward to implement are mainly related to Planning such as op_local_planner, and the motion model of truck is car-trailer model (not Ackerman). Do u think these packages can be implemented on truck?? and, is there any Autoware documentation regarding this??
Thank you :)

The stack currently does not include any code for trailers or control of vehicles with them. Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of documentation either.
