Why is the groundplane offset from the ground in Gazebo? [closed]

Hi all,

I'm a bit confused why the ground plane seems to be offset from the floor in my Gazebo simulation, as shown below (highlighted by the green square):

Could anyone suggest how I can move this back to the floor that everything else is sitting on?
