Moveit! and gazebo integration

Hello all,

I've recently just created an IRB120_moveit package following the moveit! setup assistant and using the irb120_3_58.xacro file to generate a URDF for the abb 120 robot.

I'm now trying to integrate moveit! with gazebo so that i'm able to simulate my robot. I'm aware that there a demo_gazebo.launch files created as default from the moveit! setup assistant but when I try to run it, it doesn't seem to do anything other than spit out errors of there being no controllers.

If anyone can give me some guidance for step by step process in getting it sorted that would be awesome. I've tried this method already and it doesn't seem to work so I've just created a new package from scratch in the hopes of being given step by step guidance on how to get it fully working.

Thanks in advance.

Have you see abb_experimental/abb_irb120_moveit_config? If so: does that not work for you?

Hi gvdhoom, thank you for your reply. I've managed to get the moveit and gazebo integration working using the abb_experimental package.

Would you have any idea how to use the move_group python interface to move the abb robot (instead of the panda arm in the moveit! tutorials)
