Hobbyist lidar comparison, recommendations

I'm looking to purchase a cheap hobbyist grade 2D lidar for indoor mapping for my differential drive roobt. In my search I have found quite a few options and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations. I'm trying to stay under $120. Obviously at this price I'm not expecting anything spectacular. Just something that will work for Gmapping/hector SLAM. I intend to use it with the Intel Aaeon UP board (similar to a raspberry pi) with ROS kinetic.

These are a few that I am considering at the moment. They all seem very similar. Does anyone have experience with any of these brands? How is the documentation? ROS compatibility? Performance? Any other recommendations?

YDlidar X4: Amazon Link

YDlidar X2: Amazon Link

RPlidar A1M8: Amazon Link

There are even some "no name" brands on ebay for ~$30: ebay Link

Solely based off of this comparison video, I am leaning toward the YDlidar however the video isn't very specific about the models used in the comparison.

Thanks for any feedback.
