How to rostopic echo only the positions of x and y from the topic call [namespace/move_base/NavfnROS/plan]
I'm a beginner in ROS and I'm struggling with this simple issue. My objective is to calculate the path planned by using navigation stack package, hence I need to retrieve all the x,y position from the array. I tried ~/namespace/move_base/NavfnROS/plan >> coordinates.csv but the data inside the csv file is messy. Perhaps there's someway to save only the x,y coordinates for the sake of convenience for scripting. Thanks in advance.
Could you please explain in a bit more detail what your actual goal is? Because this is something that you could do easily with a simple subscriber...
