How to save a generated path?

Hi,

I'm working on a path following project that the robot follows a pre-defined path. I have serveral questions about this:

a. Is there a way to save the path that you want to follow? Does the nav_path message type support this and how to save it?

b. How shall I load the path and publish it?

Please help me with those questions! Thanks a lot.
