Does the ROS library of code incorporate the concepts discussed in MIT's underactuated robotics course?

have gotten about a third of the way into this course and am impressed with the approach. Excellent mathematical model for control systems.

Off hand, I don't know that anyone can tell you if something in the large ROS ecosystem conforms specifically to a specific lecture set from a specific class at a specific university...
Can you be more specific about what specifically you're asking about? I don't know that we're going to skim the course materials to try to guess what you mean

I can't print a sample of the type equations used as the formulas use special characters. But this page lists some good examples of Russ's approach. link text

ie....dont' want to recode all that math if it's been done.
