concurrent tf broascasting

Hello,

I would like to know if concurrent tf broadcasting is possible, considering the following tf tree: image description

Is it possible that the SLAM update the map - base_stabilized transformation at its own pace while another process running an EKF is doing the same but at a fastest pace?
