Raspicam_node delay in camera feed

Hi, I am using Raspberry Pi 3 with Ubuntu 16.04 and ROS Kinetic.It publishes Compressed image by default. The camera was publishing fast images before,but now they are having a lag of approximately 2-3 secs. I even tried image_transport package to convert it to raw. But the delay remains the same. I also tried to change the frame rate in some of launch files but the issue remains same.I would be grateful if you will guide me to the right path to speed up transmission.

How far is the RPi from the router? I have spots in my house where the frame delay can be many seconds. In my case it's all WiFi issue. Move PI near router and see if it clears up.

Hi , Thanks for quick reply. I checked my speed of wifi router the speed was 0.89 Mbps of upload and 1.26 Mbps of Download.So I will change the wifi router and will again check the frame rate of Raspicam.
