KVH IMU Sensor Addition
Is it possible to add the KVH 17xx IMUs to the ROS sensor library ( http://wiki.ros.org/Sensors ). They have several high accuracy IMUs with Fiber Optic Gyros. This is very critical for long duration dead reckoning. An implemented khalman filter would also be beneficial as the system outputs raw rate data. Does anyone have this code available?
That list is community & vendor maintained. If someone / some origanisation / the OEM writes the required ROS nodes then they could add those sensors to the list.
Without drivers, there's no point in listing them there.
