Hi,

I have one application where my Laser Scanner(LiDAR) has to be covered with a bullet proof glass.

I am much worried that whether the laser scanner would actually work and penetrate through the glass when it is behind a bullet proof glass.

Has any one tried this? If yes kindly share your experience.

Thanks in advance.

Radeshwar.

I understand why you'd post this question here (as you're probably using a ROS node to interface with your lidar), but this is a generic question about the operating principles (and constraints) of lidar technology.

As such, I'd suggest you post this on a robotics forum that deals with these types of questions instead of here on ROS Answers (where we try to stay on-topic as much as possible).

@gvdhoorn Thanks for your suggestion, I posted here thinking that someone might have already worked or faced a similar scenario.
