Object Detection with ROS indigo

Hello, forgive me if the question is trivial, but I am new to the ROS environment. I have a Fetch robot which I operate using ROS indigo, I want to expand its pick and place demo so that it can pick a specific object in between many objects. Can anyone help me with this, please?

To do object detection please refer to vision_opencv package.
