Difficulty with openni_launch on getting turtlebot running in Melodic in Ubuntu 18.04 on a RockPro64. I believe the architecture of the processor is keeping me from getting the right driver installed. Has anyone done this successfully? I am still getting the "no device" found error. The kinect is confirmed working via another computer and is showing up properly on lsusb cli command.

roslaunch openni_launch openni.launch is the command.

I put more details on my github issue but I do not have much hopes of getting an answer there.

Seeing as all the OpenNI stuff is rather old, it could well be that ARM64 is not (properly) supported.

I'm not an expert though, so could be that there is some support somewhere.

The openni website goes to apple.com now so that is never a good sign...

I used to have "no device" found issue, running openni_launch on Raspberry Pi. However, this guide helped get openni_launch to work in my case. Just in case you're looking to download different OpenNi drivers (x64, x86, ARM etc), Kaorun55's bitbucket.
