rviz freeze with moveit, allow external comm enabled
what I did.
- roslaunch abb_robot_moveit_config demo.launch
- check “Allow External Comm” in planning tab
- move robot arm position with mouse interacting with interactive marker
after some movement, rviz freezes, stop responding to anything
my setup
- Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS
- ROS Melodic
- rviz 1.13.1
everything else works fine. nothing special noticed in log file and bag file.
I have tried a few setups:
- PC with Linux installed (Ubuntu 18.04, ROS Melodic)
- PC with windows 10 Pro installed and Oracle VM VirtualBox (version 5.2.22) (Ubuntu 18.04, ROS Melodic)
- PC with windows 10 Pro installed and Oracle VM VirtualBox (version 5.2.22) (Ubuntu 16.04, ROS Kinetic)
- PC with windows 10 Pro installed and VMWare Workstation (version 15.0.2) (Ubuntu 18.04, ROS Melodic)
Same result on each.
Same result with another robot moveit config package.
