cannot bind to specified serial port/dev/ydlidar
I've been working with the YDLIDAR X4 for a month trying to get it working in ROS. I followed the tutorial and for a while, the LIDAR would launch in ROS and I could see it in RVIZ. Recently however its stopped working and I'm getting the error stated in the question. I've done just about everything on the web and no solution. I'm not sure why it randomly stopped working I haven't done anything new.
Please include a verbatim copy-paste of the error message (and surrounding console text) that you see.
Paraphrasing error messages is almost never a good idea, as you might end up skipping important clues or information.
Also: if this connects to a serial-over-usb: have you added any other devices? Started using a different usb port?
