I'm sorry to be so persistent, but this would seem to be a duplicate of #q312581.
Can you please tell us which tutorials/documentation you've already found, and why they didn't work for you?
ROS installation instructions fi are found on the wiki.

I have been trying to download gazebo from this website but it just tells me that i have build errors due to missing SDF, missing Ignition. I'm stuck because i can't seems to get it to work despite re-downloading.

Why are you building from source?

How should i build? Any idea because i'm very new into this.

you shouldn't, ever. Unless you have to. Always prefer binary packages if they are available.
Are you using an unsupported OS, version of ROS, or a combination of any of those?
If your answer is "no", then do not build from source.
There should be no need.

I've downloaded a WMware workstation and installed a ubuntu 16.04 version. How should i being with the right downloading or gazebo or even ros?

For ROS: follow the installation tutorial I've already linked you to.
To install Gazebo: if you install
ros-kinetic-desktop-full
, it will be automatically installed for you (although that would be version 7, and you may want to upgrade it -- at a later time).Start with the basics.

I would also recommend to pick up a book or two. You'll probably need it.

Final comment:
If you intend to run Gazebo and RViz inside that VM, be prepared for performance issues and overall a reduced user experience.
VMs don't have the performance a native installation will have.
If you have the option, install Ubuntu ..

.. on your machine, and use ROS and Gazebo with that.
Provided you have appropriate hardware, you'll do yourself a favour.

I don't know what an IGN is.
