rqt_gui blank no menu display [closed]

When running command 

$ rosrun rqt_gui rqt_gui

Display window pops-up but it is blank... no menu is displayed only minimize,close, maximize buttons are there. Running this on ros-kinetic. Already tried re-installing rqt many times no help.

Yes... it was the Ubuntu Appearance settings for menu display.
