I recently upgraded my cmake to cmake3 in my workstation where I'm using ubuntu 14.04 and i removed my older version of cmake completely by running sudo apt-get remove camke

At the time I didn't realize it would remove many of the ros indigo files which I had to resinstall, I'm wondering if there is any way i can upgrade camke in my laptop without affecting any ros indigo files and packages.
