Publish jointstates from gazebo [closed]

Hi, I've created a urdf model of my robot and can be spawned successfully on gazebo. My problem is gazebo is not publishing my joints on the joint_states and tf topics. When I run rosrun tf tf_echo /end_link /base_link it says one of the links in between exists with no parent. I don't know if the problem is with my urdf file coz check_urdf parses the model successfully. Please help.

As announced by the developers in Sep 2012, all gazebo related questions should be asked on new gazebo specific QA community. Thank you for your cooperation!
