Cameracheck.py is not working

I calibrated my kinect camera but now i was trying to validate it using rosrun camera_calibration cameracheck.py image:=/camera/ir/image_raw camera:=/camera/ir --size 8x6 --square 0.0245

but it shows nothing. No response. What should i do
