Stereo Camera SLAM Pipeline
Hello All,
I wish to do SLAM using stereo camera and monocular camera separately. I have gone through some tutorials but can't get a clear picture about what is the entire pipeline.
For lidar based navigation it generates a 3d point cloud data and which can be converted to 2d occupancy grid.
Now for camera based slam a depth or dense map is created, which I don't understand how will it be used for navigation? Can someone enlighten me upon how camera based slam works, like in terms of ROS. I am not interested in algorithm just the pipeline for now.
