Can I change the path of ROS

After executing apt install ros-kinetic-desktop-full, I've got ROS on my Ubuntu here: /opt/ros/kinetic.

My question is: is it possible to move /opt/ros to another directory?

For example, mv /opt/ros /home/me/ && source /home/me/ros/kinetic/setup.bash.

This is probably not a good idea. Why do you want to do it?
