I was rightly instructed by people here that I should increase my programming knowledge (in c++) before starting ROS. Is there a good course on c++ that will help me become more comfortable with ROS?

I was rightly instructed by people here that I should increase my programming knowledge (in c++) before starting ROS. My main problem was with the keywords used in ROS, and i was told that increasing my programming knowledge would help me overcome problems related to keywords. Can anyone please tell me in what manner I should learn programming to be more comfortable with ROS? Name of any online course or book would be great.

I recommend you learn from a book authored by the creator of C++ himself that designed for beginner and also tell you how to design algorithm, important things that must be considered in embedded system, and little GUI. The title is Programming -- Principles and Practice Using C++. This book use new C++11 and C++14 ISO.
