Cannot install packages for turtlebot3 burger
I have the following ubuntu and ros version:
Distributor ID: Ubuntu Description: Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS Release: 16.04 Codename: xenial rosversion -d kinetic
I am trying to install required packages, first I did an update:
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade
Then did:
sudo apt-get install ros-kinetic-joy ros-kinetic-teleop-twist-joy ros-kinetic-teleop-twist-keyboard ros-kinetic-laser-proc ros-kinetic-rgbd-launch ros-kinetic-depthimage-to-laserscan ros-kinetic-rosserial-arduino ros-kinetic-rosserial-python ros-kinetic-rosserial-server ros-kinetic-rosserial-client ros-kinetic-rosserial-msgs ros-kinetic-amcl ros-kinetic-map-server ros-kinetic-move-base ros-kinetic-urdf ros-kinetic-xacro ros-kinetic-compressed-image-transport ros-kinetic-rqt-image-view ros-kinetic-gmapping ros-kinetic-navigation ros-kinetic-interactive-markers Reading package lists... The content from /et/apt/sources.list.d/ros-latest.list is
deb http://packages.ros.org/ros/ubuntu xenial main
How do I get these pacakges installed. Any help is highly appreciated!
Did you try
sudo apt-get update
first before trying to install packages?yes, I did (just updated) but still have the issue
