SearchDir angle change too large

i have hokuyo 04LX UG01 when i run hector slam i get this error SearchDir angle change too large

and sometimes this error [hectormapping-11] process has died [pid 28540, exit code -11, cmd /opt/ros/kinetic/lib/hectormapping/hectormapping _name:=hectormapping _log:=/home/letsgeomat/.ros/log/1eff2f9e-0061-11e8-b2a8-548ca0efeab7/hectormapping-11.log]. log file: /home/letsgeomat/.ros/log/1eff2f9e-0061-11e8-b2a8-548ca0efeab7/hectormapping-11*.log

when i use laserscanmatcher the mapping work well

hi can i ask how do u use the laser_scan_matcher? I face the error SearchDir angle change too large only when i accidentally tilt my 2D sensor.

SearchDir angle change too large error was due to the vibration of the laser scan

hi we are using hokuyo utm30lx in my simulation and i encountered the same problem. and i tried to open the link above i don't understand a thing. is there any updates about this? has someone solved it already ?
