Adding custom model to urdf file
I am trying to add a hook model to hector_quadrotor which is in urdf.xacro fromat. I was first modeled the hook model in sdf format and attach it to sdf model of quadrotor in .gazebo/models folder, it was easy. Bur in our project our model is in urdf.xacro format, so I transformed my hook model into a urdf file and trying similar syntax used for adding cameras or sensors but thats not working and having problems on adding it onto model. This is my model file : https://github.com/Identified-Flying-... How can I add it to an urdf.xacro model? Shoul it be converted to a xacro file, if so how can I do that?
I see 2 problems with model.urdf: (a) there aren't any links, and (b) if you want to embed this in another urdf file using xacro includes you'll need to remove the
robot
