ROS for project to send image from drone to web server?

I have a project where a drone will automatically fly up (20 m or so), take a picture (or video, but maybe picture easier) and the picture will automatically get uploaded to a web server. Is this something reasonable to do with ROS? I am very experienced with arduino programming, but this would be my first ROS project. I see there are ROS controlled Drones. I assume the image can be sent from the drone to a phone as an intermediate step, then uploaded to a webserver. It would be best if all automatic. If anyone can recommend if ROS is useful for this project then please let me know. Or any other advice to get started on this project appreciated. Thanks, Drew
