Issues with tf2 turtlesim demo (turtle_tf2)

A few issues: 1. When running the demo, only one turtle moves and the other does not follow. 2. When trying to view what tf_tools is doing in the background, it gets stuck on 'Listening to tf data for 5 seconds...' There are no errors, it just gets stuck on the rospy.sleep

I have downloaded tf2 for Ros Kinetic running on Ubuntu 16.04.
