Hello I have a Ubuntu 14.04 LTS system. I am following the instructions from http://wiki.ros.org/indigo/Installati... to install on this system ROS Indigo.

At 1.4 Installation, when I get to the point sudo apt-get install ros-indigo-desktop-full, I get the following error messages:

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done

Hi thank you for your answer. Actually it seems that the problem was that instead of installing it on ubuntu 14.04, I was running ubuntu 16.04. So, after installing ubuntu 14.04, I managed (following the instructions wiki.ros.org to install indigo without any problem.

Do you have gazebo4 or gazebo5 installed in your system previously? If so, uninstall the gazebo first. Because indigo works with gazebo2 only. So, it might have caused dependency issues. Run this command first

sudo apt-get install libsdformat1

After that, try installing indigo.
