how can i convert laser scan to point cloud with laser_geometry?

I have 2d laser scanner LMS100. I want to convert laserscan to point cloud data. I learned that laser_geometry package do this job. But there isnt any tutorial for this package ( http://wiki.ros.org/laser_geometry/Tu... )
so please tell me how to do it with this package?
