How to add Velodyne sensor to ardrone robot in Gazebo?
Hello everyone, Could anyone please help me ?
I am a beginner in ROS and Gazebo. I am using ROS Hydro with Gazebo. I have installed ardrone_autonomy , tum_simulator , tum_ardrone and joystick drivers and the ardrone is working fine in Gazebo. the Velodyne HDL-32 already exist with the Gazebo models. How to add it to the top of my ardrone ?
You might have better luck asking this on the gazebo questions website. For what it's worth, I don't think you could physically mount an HDL-32 onto an ardrone. I don't think it would lift it reliably. But if you're just wanting to sim it no harm.
thanks for your comment my friend. actually I am using this type of velodyne because its model is already provided in gazebo. if I did it successfully I will start looking for more suitable velodyne to connect it to the ardrone.
