Hi guys,

In a freshly rebooted ubuntu 14.04 and ROS Indigo if I launch gmapping and after that I try to run "rostopic echo /map" or "rosservice call /dynamicmap" the system hangs completely. But saving the map through mapsaver works fine.

Anyone knows why this is happening?

edit: By using rostopic or rosservice to subscribe or call map this will end up in out of memory for some reason.
