Hi,

I'm looking for any information or tutorials that have used the Hauwei E3276 4G LTE USB modem stick on their robots to control a robot remote with telepresence capabilities.

  • (close to) real time video feed)
  • Tele-op commands

If there aren't any tutorials available, maybe you could send me towards some info that could get me started.

I've completed all the beginner and intermediate tutorials. I have a Turtlebot. I think it has something to do with instead of configuring the local WiFi IP, I configure the Static IP I received from Verizon's SIM card.

Thanks for any and all help!

The LTE modem should setup a network device and then you can use standard networking tools to setup your connectivity: https://wiki.ros.org/ROS/NetworkSetup

normally LTE/GSM devices are serial devices (ttyACU0). But doesn't matter, you can use PPP encapsulation to connect to your provider. https://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/PPP-HOWTO/...
