Hello,

I am trying to interface kinect with my laptop with ubuntu 14.04.The kinect v2 is connected to USB 3.0 and I am running ROS-Indigo. I have followed the procedure described in the link: https://github.com/code-iai/iai_kinect2 but due to some reason I am not able to get depth data when I connect the sensor and run kinect2_bridge.

The depth data I get is: [kinect2_bridge] depth processing: ~-nanHz (-nanms) publishing rate: ~0Hz Can somebody please help me with this?

Thanks

Maybe you should connect your kinect to USB 2.0.

Sometimes , kinect connect to USB 3.0 won't work well.

And, you can link to http://wiki.ros.org/kinect

Thank you for the reply. I updated the kernel to 3.16. It works now.
