which is match method of libviso2

For the monocular vision, I want to replace the match method of libviso2 ,when I replace it by SURF ,the new trajectory very like the original trajectory,but the scale is diferent.But when I using the SIFT, new trajectory is different from the original trajectory . So I am intersted in which match method or feature extraction of libviso2. Can someone help me? Thanks.
