catkin_create_pkg package into github with eclipse

hi, what the best method to commit a package with eclipse?

i created the package with catkin_create_pkg in the folder catkin_ws/src , then in eclipse i can only right-click on the project, which is the complete src/ folder of catkin_ws, and there i can only choose "share project". When i try to right-click on the new package itself, there is no "share project" ?
