black screen after installing ROS Indigo

I installed Ros indingo properly (following the instruction on this website) and restarting my PC, i receive ubuntu login page, after entering login data, all i can see is black screen with a moving cursor. I have browsed for the solution and it seems to me the problem of display driver. how can i avoid this situation? This is my second time that i totally uninstalled ubuntu.

Platform: Ubuntu (Ubuntu 13.10 (Saucy)) ROS version: Indigo
