"No Device Connected, Waiting for Device to be Connected" Error when Connecting Kinect with Ubuntu on a Virtual Box.

I am getting this error " No Device Connected, Waiting for Device to be Connected" when I connect Kinect to Ubuntu on a Virtual Box.

I have already run the following commands :

sudo apt-get install ros-<rosdistro>-openni-camera

sudo apt-get install ros-<rosdistro>-openni-launch

roslaunch openni_launch openni.launch

But, I get the error that No Device Connected. I have tried connecting the Kinect Sensor both to the USb 2.0 and USb 3.0 ports.

Also, when I try running killall XnSensorServer, I get No such process found.

Can anybody please help. Very Urgent

Under the title In the end, this is what worked, just execute third and fourth steps correctly without any other changes as mentioned before in the post..

u should restart the system after those two steps..You can try with these two steps first, if it does not work, then go through all other ways mentoined in the above link
