Hi,

I have a wheezy image for the Raspberry Pi, with working camera (opencv, find_object_ws, image_transport and imageview), ROS installation (hopefully soon with rviz), CBERRY display.

If anybody is interested in, i can distribute it. Is there any possibility to provide it to the ROS community?

thanks

Yes; I think the community would appreciate another easy way of installing ROS on the Raspberry Pi.

The ros-sig-embedded mailing list is a good place for discussion of the distribution specifics.

Hi Martin.

I'm new to ROS, and would very much appreciate a image I could download and install and share. (I haven't looked forward to building it!) I would be happy to host it if you'd like.

If I might ask:

  • which version of ROS have you built?
  • do you know if it runs on the Raspberry Pi B+ model?

If you would, please get ahold of me via http://robotclub.ab.ca/contact/
