I am trying to run rviz but its showing this error

which version of ROS are you working on and which install did you choose ? I recommand you install the (Groovy-Hydro) full desktop version, in which RVIZ is working fine (did for me at least) ! also is there any other displayed messages a part that one (generic error) ?
