failing display in gazebo GUI after updating 3.0

Hi, We updated gazebo from 2.2 with ros groovy to 3.0 with ros hydro. Then it starts failing displaying in gazebo GUI. In 3.0, it seems that the gazebo server still successfully loads my model, as "my_model" exists in GUI. The tree at left hand side of GAZEBO GUI has an item saying "my_model" with intended parameters in it, but the model isn't displayed on graphics (right hand side of gazebo).

Could it be version issue of SDF? My .world file says sdf version is 1.4. Thanks!
